Google Search & Local Services Ads
The Pulse System
We find out whether your market can produce before we spend anything in it. Then we track every call back to where it came from.
If you've run Google ads before...

You put $5,000 into Google over thirty days and got six calls. So you figured Google ads don't work for roofing.
But nobody showed you the searches your money paid for. Things like "roofing jobs near me," "how to become a roofer," and "roofing materials wholesale." Your budget went to people looking for work and contractors buying supplies. Not one homeowner who needed a roof.
Or the ads did bring calls. Thirty in a month, and eight turned into an estimate. The rest were renters who needed a landlord to sign off, plus homeowners collecting prices for next spring. While you were on the phone with them, the one with a tree through the roof left a voicemail.
Or you paid an agency over $2,000 a month for four months. Every report said things were going well. When you added up the jobs that actually came from it, the math didn't work. You asked for the call recordings and there weren't any.
All three of those are fixable. Spending more money doesn't fix any of them.

Search ads or Local Services Ads?
They're both Google, and they show up in different places for different reasons.
Local Services Ads sit at the very top of the results, with a Google Screened badge next to your name. You pay per lead instead of per click. Google verifies your license and insurance before you can run them. When they're open in your area and your category, they're usually the cheapest way to get the phone ringing.
Search ads run below that. You pay per click, and you control the keywords and the page people land on. You can also go after specific work like storm damage or full replacement, instead of taking whatever comes.
Which one fits depends on your market. Whether LSA is open where you are, how much people search in your area, and what your average job is worth. Working that out is part of what the Pulse Report does.

How does it work?
Step one:
We validate your market first
Before a dollar of your budget is spent, you get your Pulse Report: what homeowners in your service area are actually searching, what your competitors are bidding on and advertising, whether Local Services Ads are available to you, and which channel your market will support. You see the strategy before anything goes live.
Step two:
We build it and launch
Campaigns, a dedicated landing page with a screening survey, tracking numbers, and lead routing. Qualified homeowners reach you right away with their details and their timeline. The ones who were never a job don't reach you at all.
Step three:
Your live dashboard
Every call and every form gets classified to its source. We review search terms, adjust bids, and prune what isn't producing — every week. You get a monthly report, and a live dashboard you can log into any time to count the leads yourself.
Questions we get
What does it cost?
Management is a flat monthly rate. Ad spend is separate and goes straight to Google. You control that budget, and it never passes through us. The management number depends on whether you run one channel or both. We'll give you that number on the call, once we know what your market supports.
How much should I budget for ads?
Depends on your market. You want enough volume to get real data in the first thirty days. Your Pulse Report gives you the starting point for your area. If that number is more than you want to spend, better to know before you sign.
Do I have to use Local Services Ads?
No, and you might not be able to. Google screens you first, which means verifying your license and insurance. LSA also isn't open in every category or every market. Your Pulse Report tells you whether it's on the table for you.
How long until the ads are live?
About two weeks from your kickoff call. The Pulse Report comes back before that, so you'll have seen the plan before anything runs.
What do you need from me?
Answer your phone and show up to the estimate. Speed matters more than anything else you'll do, because a homeowner who fills out one form usually fills out two or three.
Why don't you do SEO?
We'd rather be good at one thing. Paid search and your Google profile put you in front of homeowners who are looking right now. SEO is a different job on a different timeline. There are people who do it better than we would.
Do I own my leads and customer data?
Yes. Your business and customer data belongs to you. We only use it to run your campaigns. If we stop working together, you can export all of it.
What Our Clients are Saying:
Let's Look at Your Market.
Book a call and we'll go through your market together. What homeowners in your area are searching, what your competitors are running, and whether Local Services Ads are open to you. About forty-five minutes.
If your market can't support this at a budget that makes sense, we'll say so on the call.
